Its sturdy polyamide sling stays firmly in place on the wall without twisting, ensuring the carabiner always maintains the desired orientation. The lower carabiner remains secure thanks to the diagonal stitching that follows its shape. In the centre, its distinctive safety stitching makes it unmistakable. The sling is available in 4 lengths: 12 cm, 18 cm, 24 cm and 35 cm.

The Puput is designed for intensive use in all types of climbing activities.

The name Puput refers to the bird “Upupa epops”, which also has a distinctive beak that inspired our carabiner.

Clipping is smoother and more precise than ever

Tapered nose: Its pointed, tapered nose facilitates the precise and smooth insertion of the carabiner into slings, bolts or other connecting elements without snagging on any of the carabiner’s curves. At the same time, this geometry allows for very comfortable route removal.

Snagfree: The lower part of the nose is smoothed to facilitate the process of unclipping the plate and the rope.

Keylock: Its Keylock closure prevents the carabiner from snagging on the rope or the belay device.

Versatile size: Its dimensions offer excellent manoeuvrability for all kinds of situations on the wall. It measures 100 mm in height, 64 mm in width, with a gate width of 24 mm and 26 mm in the straight and curved versions respectively. Made from 7075 aluminium.

Its performance on the wall extends the life of your rope

Wide contact area: Its 10.5 mm width allows the rope to be worked over a larger radius. This extends the service life of both the rope and the carabiner.

Stiffness: The triple-layer structure of the webbing provides extra stiffness, preventing any twisting. The carabiners always remain in their initial position.

Polyamide webbing: Made from the same material as dynamic climbing ropes, polyamide. A highly durable material to extend the service life of the assembly.

Diagonal stitching: The lower carabiner is secured by diagonal stitching that adapts to its shape and keeps it firmly in place at all times.

Distinctive: The central safety stitch has a distinctive shape that makes it unmistakable.

Strength: Compliant with standard EN 12275, its strength ratings are 22 kN vertically, 8 kN horizontally and 8 kN vertically with the gate open.

Materials: 7075 aluminium for greater lightness and strength.

Technology: anodised (corrosion protection).
