The Picot Screw is a high-performance carabiner designed for situations that require precision, control and reliability. Compact and extremely lightweight, it stands out for its good grip and optimised geometry for technical use in sport climbing or complex manoeuvres.
The gate incorporates a visual indicator under the thread (Lock Check), and the thread machining (Twist Guide) shows the correct direction for opening and closing.
Its name refers to the Picot bird, known for its sharp, defined beak.
AN ULTRA-LIGHT THREADED CARABINER
Ultra-Light Geometry: Technical construction optimised to reduce weight to just 44 g, while maintaining great manoeuvrability and ergonomics.
Lock Check: Lock indicator showing whether the thread is open or closed.
Twist Guide: Visible directional markings on the thread to indicate the direction of opening, very useful when the carabiner is in an unusual orientation.
Extends the life of the assembly: With a width of 11 mm, it generates a greater radius of curvature of the rope on the carabiner, reducing wear and extending the life of both the rope and the carabiner.
Snagfree: Prevents snagging on the rope or carabiner during clipping.
Conical Nose: Its pointed, conical nose facilitates the insertion of the carabiner into carabiners or other connection points precisely and smoothly, without obstruction. It also facilitates removal during disassembly.
Keylock: Prevents snagging with the rope.
