Sewn tape loop. The seams of the loop, both at the ends and on the sides, are finished to prevent snagging when manoeuvring at belay stations, with carabiners, etc.
The combination of materials used in the Fosca sling significantly improves its strength and durability. The central part of the sling, which is black, is made of HMPE (high modulus polyethylene), an extremely lightweight material with high tensile strength. Both sides of the sling have been reinforced with a polyamide profile, which is distinguished by its length indicator colour and is known for its high abrasion resistance. This careful choice of materials optimises the performance of the Fosca sling, making it extremely lightweight and resistant to both traction and abrasion. In addition, polyamide is also used in the safety seams.
Its strength is 22 kN. It can withstand high impact loads and its exceptional abrasion resistance, superior to that of a polyamide sling, guarantees reliability with every movement. Versatility and a flexible design make this item indispensable for setting up quickdraws or rock bridges. It is the shortest sling in the entire family.
Recommended for high mountain activities and expeditions, mountaineering, ice climbing and classic climbing.
