Sewn sling. The seams of the sling, both at the ends and on the sides, are finished to prevent snagging when manoeuvring at belay stations, with carabiners, etc. The distinctive Fixe logo is sewn onto the side of the sling to prevent rubbing during manoeuvres, and the edges of the label are rounded.
The combination of materials used in the Fosca sling significantly improves its strength and durability. The central part of the sling, which is black, is made of HMPE (high modulus polyethylene), an extremely lightweight material with high tensile strength. Both sides of the webbing have been reinforced with a polyamide profile, which is distinguished by its length indicator colour and is known for its high abrasion resistance. This careful choice of materials optimises the performance of the Fosca webbing, making it extremely lightweight and resistant to both traction and abrasion. In addition, polyamide is also used in the safety seams.
Its strength is 22 kN. It can withstand high impact loads and its exceptional abrasion resistance, superior to that of a polyamide ring, guarantees reliability with every movement. Its versatility and flexible design make this item indispensable for setting up quickdraws or rock bridges. It is the shortest ring in the entire family.
Recommended for high-altitude mountaineering and expeditions, ice climbing and traditional climbing.
