The Petzl Dual Connect clamping element with double clamping with a fixed rope and an adjustable rope. The adjustable rope can be adjusted to the most suitable length for rappel maneuvers, in long itineraries, in mountaineering or also to progress secured to a handrail in the descent of ravines. The blocker offers easy and fast regulation, thanks to its ergonomic shape.
Very fast and precise regulation of the adjustable rope, by means of the ADJUST blocker that is easily handled, thanks to its ergonomic shape:
- Fixed 45 cm.
- Adjustable cape from 15 to 95 cm.
It is easily clipped thanks to a rubber bushing that holds the connector in the correct position.
Dynamic rope lashing element to limit the force transmitted to the user in case of low height fall (1).
It is used with two carabiners with safety lock type SPIRIT SCREW-LOCK.
It is attached to the connecting bridge by means of a lark's knot.
(1) Use below the anchor point: the clamping elements do not have an energy absorber. Therefore, these mooring elements should only be used when the fall risk involves a fall factor of less than 1.
