The mixed blade of the three knives that make up the Skeletool KBx Collection is made of this type of alloy, which is a renewed and improved carbon version of the traditional 420. It has a perfect balance between its chromium and carbon composition, so it has good properties in relation to the maintenance of the cutting edge.

In addition, its structural balance gives it high performance in hostile environments, where humidity is relatively high or the climate is extreme, even in abrasive conditions. At the same time, it will not rust in contact with ferrous or corrosive elements, so it could be classified as an intermediate-high range steel.
