The Patagonia Retro Pile vest is made with 100% double-sided recycled polyester, providing maximum softness and warmth. Patagonia relies on a highly sustainable system: one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people's health. Patagonia recycles used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste and worn-out garments (including its own) into polyester fibers to produce new products. The use of recycled polyester reduces dependence on petroleum as a source of raw materials and toxic emissions from incinerators.
